Hughes Buzzes off

And Bailey takes his pop quiz place

Sean Hughes is quitting Never Mind The Buzzcocks - and Bill Bailey is to take his place.

Hughes decided to move on after six years with the show to work on other commitments.

Black Books star Bailey, who is joining host Mark Lamarr and fellow team captain Phill Jupitus, is a keen musician, and his stand-up shows mix music with comedy. The latest, Bewilderness, toured the UK and ran off Broadway.

Of Buzzcocks, he said: "It's a top show, it'll be a good laugh and besides, I need the money."
