Nickelodeon is to launch a hunt for teenage comedy talent.

And the youngsters discovered will be expected to produce material for a Fast Show-style sketch programme.

The kids' cable TV station has commissioned ten half-hour episodes of the talent search, titled GFI.

The series is the first the station has commissioned from production house SMG TV, trade journal Broadcast reports.
