Lamarr quits Buzzcocks?

Comic plans chat show

Mark Lamarr is quitting Never Mind the Buzzcocks after seven years as its host.

The comic is bored with the pop quiz and is ready to move onto new projects, according to newspaper reports today.

The 34-year-old, who also hosted Lamarrs Attacks for the BBC, is said to be planning a chat show.

Meanwhile, Buzzcocks producers have launched a search for his replacement before the series returns in the autumn.

A source told The Mirror: "Mark has had enough of the show and feels he's given it as much as he can."

And the Swindon-born comic has previously said: "I love doing stand-up comedy. I never think of myself as a TV person. If I ever thought that for a second I would top myself."
