Here are the comedians who took part in the Chortle Hotshots Class of 2026 showcase at the Glee Club in Birmingham last week.

At the gig, Kat Higgins was selected to get some financial help bringing her debut show In Memory Of Me to the Edinburgh Fringe this August.

She joins our previously announced Hotshots Sam Serrano, Omar Badawy and Paul Hilleard.

The final Hotshot will be chosen at a showcase in the Monkey Barrel in Edinburgh on March 24. Performing will be Andrew Tubman, Eva Peroni, Mick McNeill, Craig Speirs, Chris Rutter, Tasmin Sarkany, Alan Jay and Belle Emilie Gold with MC Billy Kirkwood. Tickets are available here.
