Who's in series 8 of Taskmaster?

New contestants named

The guests for the eighth series of Taskmaster have been named.

They are Love Island commentator Iain Stirling, the Inbetweeners’ Joe Thomas, stand-up Lou Sanders, ITV Chaser Paul Sinha and Car Share’s Sian Gibson.

The show returns to Dave in May, with Greg Davies returning as the Taskmaster and series creator Alex Horne as his sidekick.

Series seven – which starred James Acaster, Jessica Knappett, Kerry Godliman, Phil Wang, and Rhod Gilbert – was the most-watched so far with an average of 1.5 million viewers per episode, up seven per cent on the previous year.

Taskmaster is also the most watched show on UKTV Play with more than 7.4 million views, while the spin-off book 200 Extraordinary Tasks for Ordinary People, has sold 57,000 copies.
