Jon Long made his solo Edinburgh Fringe debut with 2019’s Planet Killing Machine, based on the ten years he spent working in environmental education,, which was subsequently developed into the BBC Radio 4 programme Extinction Compendium. He then made the six-episode eco-themed show Carbon Lifeforms, also for Radio 4, alongside climate scientist Dr Tara Shine. He has also been a regular tour support for Chris McCausland, opening hundreds of dates for him.
