Originally a playwright, Anuvab Pal is an Indian stand-up comedian and writer, who started out in the Mumbai branch of the British Comedy Store when it opened in 2010. He was one of 14 Indian comics to have their specials put on Amazon Prime Video in 2016. He is also a regular co-host of satirical podcast The Bugle alongside Andy Zaltzman. With Zalzman he co-created the upcoming Radio 4 series Empire-ical Evidence and Future Empire-Fect. His stand-up special  Empire was also released on Amazon Prime UK, as part of Soho Theatre Live.
