The triple Tony Award-winning comedy musical Avenue Q is back on the West End stage – and Chortle has two tickets to be won, plus an overnight London stay.

Described as ‘Sesame Street for adults’, the show made a comeback earlier this year, 20 years after its original debut in the West End, with the Telegraph calling it ‘more outrageous than ever’.

What’s On Stage deemed it a ‘humongous hearted show… the theatrical definition of naughty but nice’,  while the London Standard said it ‘treats its naïve characters and its subject matter with outrageous, pin-sharp bad taste but also with affection and compassion'.

The show revolves around college graduate Princeton ending up in a shabby apartment on New York’s rundown Avenue Q, where he meets his colourful neighbour, and together they learn to navigate the struggles of work, love and paying the bills…

With original Broadway director Jason Moore and puppet designer Rick Lyon, Avenue Q has extended its run at the Shaftesbury Theatre into 2027. Book here.
