New podcast from comics James Barr and Lauren Pattison

Comedians James Barr and Lauren Pattison are releasing a new fashion-based podcast.

On Notes From The Island, the pair are described as ‘agony aunts if agony aunts told you to solve problems by wearing some new jeans and a nice top’.

To be released every Friday, starting this week, the podcast features three segments: What I’m Loving, in which celebrities share their current obsessions; The Big Question, in which the pair address a listener’s fashion dilemmas; and Pass The Mic, aimed at highlighting ‘heart-warming-goodness’.

Barr said: ‘Fashion and confidence are forever entwined, with this podcast we’re creating a space to talk and share our biggest fashion gripes, loves and woes.

‘Tune in each week as we try our best to answer a big burning question from a listener – and if we can’t do it — we’ll ask a grown up to help or something.’

Pattison added: ‘Podcasts are the best format for working stuff out together while having a laugh.’
