Teenage Cancer Trust gigs are back
The Teenage Cancer Trust gigs are returning to the Royal Albert Hall after a two-year absence, with Joel Dommett hosting the comedy night.
The Masked Singer presenter will introduce Tom Allen, Rob Beckett, Rosie Jones, Romesh Ranganathan, Suzi Ruffell and Seann Walsh to the stage of the historic West London venue on March 22.
It will be part of a week of fundraisers for the charity, backed by Roger Daltry. His band, The Who, will play on Friday night with other shows from Ed Sheeran, Madness, Yungblud, Liam Gallagher and Don Broco.
It would have been the 20th anniversary of the Teenage Cancer Trust concert series in 2020, but the run was due to start was the first day of the first lockdown.
Katie Collins, chief executive of the Teenage Cancer Trust, said: ‘We are so grateful to Roger and all the acts coming together to help us ensure that young people don’t have to face cancer alone.
‘The past two years have been so tough for young people with cancer and their families. As well as being amazing gigs these vital fundraising shows going ahead will make the world of difference.’
