ITV sets air date for Jack Dee's new sitcom

Bad Move launches on September 20

ITV has confirmed a launch date for Jack Dee’s new family sitcom, Bad Move: Wednesday September 20 at 8pm

Dee stars in the show alongside Kerry Godliman as married couple who move to the countryside from the city and find it’s not all they dreamed.

Unscrupulous estate agents, architects and builders mean the couple are financially forced to stay put – and decide to put a brave face on their relocation, so as not to prove the urban naysayers right.

Dee wrote the script with his long-term collaborator Pete Sinclair, and it was filmed in the picturesque North York Moors.

Miles Jupp also stars as neighbour Matt, and Seann Walsh as a villager called Grizzo.

Bad Move was commissioned from Dee’s company Open Mike Productions by ITV comedy commissioning editor Saskia Schuster and departing head of comedy entertainment Peter Davey.
