Michael McIntyre's fortune grows by £2m

Boost to his company accounts

Michael McIntyre’s coffers have swelled by more than £2million in a year.

Newly filed accounts for his company Breachcroft Ltd show its assets almost tripled from £1.14million to £3.25million in the 12 months to April 2022.

He and his wife Kitty are the only directors of the firm, which lists its business at Companies House as ‘artistic creation’.

The comic also co-owns TV production company Hungry McBear, which makes his programmes The Wheel and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.

Its last accounts covering the period to December 2021 showed he and other shareholders were sitting on a pot of £2million.

McIntrye’s fortune will grow further this year as he embarks on his Macnificent world tour, which kicks off in the UK in September.

His career is also taking off in the States, as he hosts a US version of The Wheel – which he also  devised. It was stripped across ten nights of primetime on NBC last Christmas, peaking at 2.2million overnight viewers.
