Some of the line-up is revealed

Some of the comedians appearing in the next series of Live At The Apollo have been revealed.

Filming is currently under way on the 13th series of the BBC’s flagship stand-up show – and audiences at the tapings in London have revealed some of the line-ups.

On Tueday afternoon, the Christmas episode was filmed with Katherine Ryan hosting Marlon Davis, Joel Dommett and John Robins.

Another show, hosted by Ed Byrne, features Angela Barnes and Geoff Norcott.

The series is usually only reserved for well-established names, but this season is giving vital exposure to some up-and coming stars, with slots for Desiree Burch, Guz Khan, Darren Harriott, Jen Brister and Larry Dean.

Bigger names taking part include Nish Kumar, Dane Baptiste, Lucy Porter, Henning Wehn and Rob Beckett, who is soon to host a Saturday-night singing show, All Together Now, for BBC One.
