Sitcom and live special

Video website Vimeo has announced a new range of comedy commissions, including a new show starring comedy duo Jake & Amir and a special from  musical comics Garfunkel & Oates.

In Lonely and Horny, which launched on April 8, Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld write and star in a show about a neurotic, selfish 30-something desperate to have sex. Blumenfeld plays the central character and Hurwitz  an  dating tutor.

Garfunkel and Oates: Trying to be Special  is the first comedy special from the Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci. Due out in May, the promise is that the pair host a live fundraiser in the hopes of raising enough money to make their own comedy special. 

Vimeo is also making its first original documentary, Wizard Mode, about an autistic pinball champion.
