COMEDY is to return to a West London venue after a 17-year absence. The Viaduct in Hanwell used to be home to the weekly Ha Bloody Ha, and played host to the likes of Steve Coogan, Alan Davies, Matt Lucas, Sacha Baron Cohen and Rob Brydon. Now the Bearcat Club is opening a Friday-night club there, starting next week with Milton Jones headlining a night that has already sold out. Listings.

ONE contributor to this year's comedy film festival Cofilmic will receive a £10,000 award to make more videos, thanks to talent incubator Wildseed Studios. Short comedy films, sketches or pilots, running for five to seven minutes, need to be submitted here by noon on September 30.
