BBC TWO has finally officially confirmed that The Wrong Mans will be coming back for a second series, long after creators James Corden and Mathew Bayton have been talking about their plans for its return.

A LAS VEGAS jury has awarded comedian George Wallace $1.3 million in damages over a leg injury sustained on stage. He successfully claimed casino Bellagio was negligent over an accident in which he stumbled over loose electrical wires on the stage during a corporate gig for HSBC in 2007.

RADIO 4 has ordered a second series of The Guns Of Adam Riches. The new episodes will be recorded in London in front of a studio audience – who are frequently called on to take part – in May. See our Free Tickets page for details.

JERRY SEINFELD’s Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee has been voted best web show at the Shorty Awards for social media. Meanwhile, the Modern Seinfeld Twitter feed, suggesting storylines for his sitcom if it was still on the air was named best fake account. CHEERS star George Wendt is to star in another sitcom set in Boston. He has landed the lead role in a new untitled comedy set in a barber’s shop, devised by Will & Grace creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick. In the TBS series he will play shop owner Buzzy, a nice guy with a gambling problem, Hollywood website Deadline reports.
