New panel show features CGI characters

Rufus Hound is to host a Channel 4 comedy panel show pilot in which guests will control animated characters.

The test episode of Name That Toon will be shot in London later this month, with guests using motion-capture technology to bring the CGI characters to life.

Producers Room 414 say the animations will include animals and famous faces, such as Justin Bieber and Barack Obama.

Hound has previously appeared as a regular on Celebrity Juice and Argumental, and has fronted radio shows, but Name That Toon would his first TV panel show hosting job, if it gets picked up for a series.

The pilot is being recorded in front of a studio audience. See our Free Tickets page to be part of it.
