Lee Evans takes DVD top spot

Topping Peter Kay in stand-up chart

Lee Evans has overtaken Peter Kay to be the bestselling stand-up DVD this week.

His Roadrunner tour is No 2 in the overall charts – behind only Disney’s Cars 2 – with Kay dipping from No 3 to No 6 on its third week of release.

There are seven stand-ups in the top 40, which are, in order (with last week’s position in the stand-up only chart in brackets)

1. Lee Evans: Roadrunner (NEW)
2. Peter Kay: The Tour That Didn’t Tour (1)
3. John Bishop: Sunshine (2)
4. Sarah Millican: Chatterbox Live (NEW)
5. Alan Carr: Spexy Beast (4)
6. Micky Flanagan (3)
7. Comedy Superstars 2011 (NEW)

This last title is a £5 teaser available only at Asda and featuring five-minute segments from the likes of Jason Manford, Greg Davies, Tim Minchin, Dylan Moran and Russell Kane – none of whose solo discs have broken the Top 40.
