Creation of Steve Jameson

Great character, in the vein of the old style comedian but with an edge. Dirtier than most controversial 'new' comedians, but gets away with it. Funny, filthy, like a dirty grandad ;) Solid material and great act. I'd watch him again :)

Saw Steve as Sol again last night at The Walnut Tree Maidstone. Seen him so many times I am almost a Sol stalker. Same gags, same routine with a few additions but the same hearty laughter. I love this guy and his character, enough is never enough.

Rocked my gig in Newcastle a couple of weeks ago to the extent that the couple who travelled up from Birmingham to see Tom Stade (who was pulled from the gig due to other committments) for the weekend are returning to our show this month.

when I saw this guy a while ago, he just insulted me, for no reason, for no joke, his 'line' was 'I hate fat people, sorry I didnt see you sitting there, you are fat' Hardly inventive, or funny, and ruined my night. I wrote to him, found his yiddish schtick tiresome, once you get past the fact yiddish words sound funny, there's little there IMO

Sol{Steve} is very funny guy and has always stormed it when I have saw him and who else could get away with telling the biggest guy on the front row "Wipe the JIZ from your chin" and get away with it and make the guy laugh.
