Mark Sutton and David Cunningham present Queen Victoria's Secret Catalogue, a sketch comedy masquerading as stand-up, with a dash of storytelling, pantomime and grand opera.
Taking as their cue the adage ‘Old is the new new' the Messrs Sutton & Cunningham invite you to a curious hour of original comedy, set entirely in the 19th century. Just who invented steam? Just what is a pantaloon? And most importantly, just what is Queen Victoria keeping secret behind her mourning dress?
All these questions and more will be asked and perhaps occasionally answered in Queen Victoria's Secret Catalogue.
This show is a bizarre journey through good old-timey-style songs, scenes and monologues, all in period costume. Queen Victoria's Secret Catalogue, a sure-fire win for the whole family, except Gran obviously.
