From Cumbernauld, Glasgow (voted worst town in the UK), Chris moved to Berlin for love. What he found was a middle-class nightmare. Working in Michelin-star restaurants and discovering readily available Ferrero Rocher sent him into a state of confusion, he sought help via Alcoholic Anonymous – only to "find" himself on a 10-day silent retreat in Poland.
