Eddie Naessens: Little Terror
Show type: Edinburgh Fringe 2005
Show type: Edinburgh Fringe 2005
In his one-man show Little Terror, critically acclaimed Irish comedian Eddie Naessens kicks around some big ideas on life.
From mortality salience and pessimism v optimism, to the songs of Destiny's Child versus the style of Bob Dylan, he presents an hour of stand up about finding hope in despair, meaning in struggle, and relevant information in a Sky News Bulletin.
You see, Eddie knows a thing or two about facing the bigger issues in life. Having recovered twice from cancer he has learned a thing or two about the nature of Terror, both personal and global. Now he turns over some big ideas with a pitchfork of wit, a hair dryer of punch lines, and a towel of metaphors. A show that promises not to be so moving and magical that it disappears up its own arse.
