One Harry who's NOT causing trouble for the Queen
The BBC has shelved a short comedy film featuring Harry Hill dressed as the Queen - out of respect for the Monarch.
The black-and-white silent skit had originally been scheduled to air on BBC Two tonight as part of the Corporation’s ongoing Festival of Funny.
However, bosses have now decided to put off the broadcast while Prince Philip recovers from heart surgery..
A spokesperson told Chortle: ‘Schedules are always subject to change and we took the decision to postpone transmission while Prince Philip remains in hospital.’
The Duke of Edinburgh, who turns 100 in June underwent a procedure on a pre-existing condition at St Bart's Hospital in London last week. On Friday, the Duchess of Cornwall he was ‘slightly improving’.
The postponed film is part of a series of shorts called Harry Hill’s Lonely Island, which started last night and was due to be stripped across four evenings this week, but will now run only to Wednesday.
