Little Britain duo could be back together on screen

David Walliams and Matt Lucas are planning a possible new TV project.

The pair recently reunited for a one-off Little Britain special, Little Brexit, for Radio 4 – which apparently rekindled a desire to do more work together.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, Walliams said: ‘We had great fun doing [Little Brexit]… so hopefully we’ll be doing some more things together.’

And talking about whether they could do another TV series he said: ‘We might… we were talking about it just today.

‘But we don’t know for sure exactly what we want to do, whether we want to revisit things from the past or we want to do something totally new.’

Little Britain ran on Radio 4 from 2000 until 2002 before transferring to BBC Three and then BBC One. Ultimately 36 TV episodes were made, ending in 2007.

Lucas and Walliams then made the airport-based show Come Fly With Me, which ran for one series in  2010 – their last major project together.

Yesterday it was reported that Walliams has made more than £100million from the sale of his children’s books

• The Jonathan Ross Show is on ITV tomorrow at 10:10pm
