West End gets Spammed again

Python musical returns to London

Monty Python’s Spamalot is to return to the West End after a three-year absence.

Comic Marcus Brigstocke and impressionist Jon Culshaw will share the role of Arthur when the musical opens at The Harold Pinter Theatr from July 24.

Bonnie Langford will play the Lady of the Lake and former EastEnder Todd Carty will be Patsy in the show, which runs until September 9.

The show first ran at London’s Palace theatre from 2006 to 2009 and has been on tour of the UK with this newer, slimmed-down production, for much of the time since.

Brigstocke will open and close the show’s season as Arthur, with Culshaw taking over between August 2 and September 2, while Brigstocke is at the Edinburgh Fringe.
