Rapper was in on the act

Eminem was in on Sacha Baron Cohen’s MTV Movie Awards show stunt, the rapper has confirmed.

There had been widespread speculation that the gag – in which Cohen’s outrageously dressed creation Bruno landed in Eminem’s lap – was set up.

At one point, the apparently furious victim raged, ‘Are you fucking serious’ while peering over Cohen’s bare backside, before storming out of Los Angles’s Universal Ampitheatre.

Now, in an interview with the Rap Radar website, Eminem confirmed he was part of the gag all along.

He said: ‘Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I\'m a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag.

‘I\'m thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it. It had so many people going nuts

‘After the ceremony I went back to my hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about three hours.’
