Windsor rules out film return
Barbara Windsor has turned down a role in the new Carry On film.The 70-year-old EastEnders star refused to even consider making an appearance in Carry On London, which hopes to revive the franchise which made her name.
She said: ‘There's no way I'd do it. The Carry Ons were wonderful but very much of their time. I don't think it's possible to recreate them today.
‘I think, would Sid James have done it? Would Kenneth Williams? And the answer is no.’
The new film reportedly features Vinnie Jones and model Victoria Silvstedt, and is set to be released in 2008.
