Pegg plans hour-long special

Simon Pegg plans to bring Spaced back for an hour-long special.

The flatshare sitcom was last week voted the most-missed comedy on British TV by readers of Chortle.

But now Pegg says he, too, would like it to come back to tie up all the loose ends.

His comments came in a Radio 4 interview with Bill Bailey, who appeared in Spaced as Pegg’s boss, comic bookshop owner Bilbo.

He said: ‘What I really would love to do – and I really hope that we can do this at some point in the future – is one hour; finish it all off; tie up all the Loose Ends get everybody where they're gonna be.  Because we know where they all end up; there is a history to all of them, including you.’

The full interview will be aired as part of Radio 4’s Chain Reaction series tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6.30pm.
