Wayans brothers to make stand-up movie

Two of the Wayans brothers are to make a comedy movie set in the world of stand-up.

Sitcom star Damon, pictured, will make his directing debut with the film Behind The Smile.

And it will star his younger brother Marlon as a young comic who leaves his native Cleveland in the search of fame in Hollywood.

Filming is due to start on the independent movie in July, trade paper Variety reports, with a number of comedians expected to make cameos.

Damon Wayans’ sitcom My Wife And Kids has just been recommissioned for a fifth season in the States.
