Walliams and Lucas plan stage show

Little Britain stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams are planning a live version of their hit TV show.

The pair are currently working on a second series for BBC2, but say they would like to take the show on the road.

Walliams told The Sun: "We'd love to do a live version. We'd just need to work out how to do all the costume changes."

He added that all the favourite characters will be back for the nest series, adding: "We are also working on some new ones."

The pair have performed a number of their sketches live in charity benefits, but a full-scale show would be more ambitious. But it is possible - the League Of Gentlemen successfully transferred their TV show to the stage.
