Fun Factory

TV project seeks new ideas

A new scheme has been launched to help people with good comedy ideas earn a daily wage while they are developed into TV shows.

Carlton TV, Jongleurs and KDR Productions are behind the new initiative, called The Factory.

And they are now seeking performers, writers and "anybody who's funny" to suggest shows to meet the growing demand for new comedy formats.

Anyone whose idea for a sketch, animation, panel show or sitcom meets the organisers' approval will be invited to work at The Factory, where ideas are exchanged and developed by the whole team.

And if the show is made, performers and writers are paid the going rate.

Send your idea - marked with which category it falls into - to Miles Ross, KDR Productions, Building Three, Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road London W4 5YA or by e-mail by September 15.
