Comics up for 2025 Sky Arts Award

Elf Lyons, Jen Brister and Sarah Keyworth all nominated

Elf Lyons, Jen Brister and Sarah Keyworth have been nominated for the Sky Arts Award for comedy

The broadcaster said: ‘Elf Lyons is nominated for her genre-defying show Horses, alongside Jen Brister for her critically acclaimed body of work and Sarah Keyworth for their standout show, My Eyes Are Up Here.’

Previously known as The South Bank awards, this year’s accolades across all artistic disciplines will be handed out at a ceremony in London’s Roundhouse on September 16, hosted by Bill Bailey.

The award has previously tended to favour TV shows over stand-ups, but was last year won by Fern Brady

Sky executive Phil Edgar-Jones  said: ‘The Sky Arts Awards remain the only night of the year in which all the arts are recognised at once. Poets and sopranos join actors, writers, dancers and musicians to celebrate the contributions they have made to the sector which not only fuels our economy but brings us joy, empathy and hope..

Nominees across all categories have been shortlisted by independent juries comprised of industry peers.
