Documentary about Janey Godley's comedy and cancer

Here’s the trailer for the new documentary about Janey Godley’s comedy career, racism storm, and cancer diagnosis.

The film, called simply Janey, has its world premiere  at Glasgow Film Festival on March 10, followed by screenings across Scotland, At many of them, Godley will also perform stand-up and take part in a Q&A about the film.

She said: ‘After all I’ve been through these past two years, the film has been the energy boost I needed to pick me up

‘I hope everyone enjoys the highs and lows of the documentary, there’s laughter and, more than anything, friendship. It’s a love letter to my pals and I can’t wait to see it on the big screen.’
