Good Omens parody by The Hillywood Show

As Amazon confirms the launch date of series two of the real thing

Neil Gaiman has contributed to a parody of Good Omens, which serves as an announcement of the release date of the second series.

The Hillywood Show – aka fans Hilly & Hannah Hindi – have created an accurate reproduction the first season which featured Michael Sheen as angel  Aziraphale and David Tennant as demon Crowley.

And writer Gaiman makes a parody alongside original stars Daniel Mays and Maggie Service... as well as the actual Bentley that featured in series one.

The 13-minute film has been released as Amazon Prime Video confirmed that the second series of the supernatural comedy will premiere on July 28.

Today also marks the 33rd anniversary of the publication of the original novel Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch that Gaiman wrote with Terry Pratchett.

As well as the main stars,  also reprising their roles for season two are Jon Hamm as archangel Gabriel, Doon Mackichan as archangel Michael, and Gloria Obianyo as archangel Uriel.

Returning in new roles are Miranda Richardson as demon Shax, Maggie Service as Maggie, and Nina Sosanya as Nina, while Liz Carr takes on the new role as angel Saraqael, Quelin Sepulveda as angel Muriel, and Shelley Conn as demon Beelzebub.

Gaiman continues as executive producer and co-showrunner.
