Coming to Netflix on December 4

Netflix has released a trailer for Russell Brand's new stand-up special Re:Birth.

In the clip, the comic explains: 'Primarily my motivation in performing is to convey to you my belief that deep within each of us there is an essence and if we can connect with that essence as individuals and connect to one another truthfully, there's a divine power that will be unleashed with which we can change ourselves as individuals, society and maybe even the world – that's the main reason I come here.

'But I've got to be honest there is a financial component to it...'

The special drops on the streaming giant on December 4.
