Dara and Ed's failed attempts at leg-rowing
...but the rocket festival is a treat
Dara O Briain and Ed Byrne struggled to get to grips with traditional Myanmar leg-rowing for their Road to Mandalay travelogue.As we reported earlier in the month, Byrne said he could have been decapitated when he fell into the water as he crashed into another boat.
And now footage of the next episode - due to air on Sunday – shows O Briain is no better at mastering the technique:
Nonetheless they took part in a competitive team race, even if their contribution might not have amounted to much:
The comedians also witnessed a rocket festival – much to their delight. 'That was the kind of thing you see at Nasa,' gushed Stargazing Live presenter O Briain:
