Watch Louis CK on Saturday Night Live

Opening monologue

When he last hosted Saturday Night Live, Louis CK caused some upset with his material about child molesters.

But last night, when he returned, most of his material was far more family friendly, being silly about moose and giraffes – although he did tag it with a line about bestiality.

He opened with the classic ‘why did the chicken cross the road’ set-up, leading into a claim that the birds are racist.

Elsewhere he spoke about crappy motels he used to stay in when on the road compared the swanky five-star joints he stays in now, even though they make him uncomfortable – a routine that turned into an exposé of white privilege.
