On March 1st ­ St David's Day ­ he completed the unenviable double of being mugged and burgled within twelve months. After the burglary Watson felt angrier than he'd ever been in his life, and the knock-on effect was a general surge of bad feeling against everything and everyone.

Taking the Seven Deadly Sins as a rough template, Watson considers why a generation with so much going for it seems incapable of not acting like a bunch of arseholes...
