Jack Whitehall has announced that he and his girlfriend Roxy Horner are expecting their first child together.
The comedian shared the news on social media, sharing photos of himself and his partner holding baby scan pictures
The 34-year-old comic captioned the post: ‘And I thought I wasn’t getting enough attention when the dog arrived…’
Horner, 31, added on her account: ‘The best news to share…’
Whitehall’s mum Hilary lead the congratulations, posting: ‘You have made @fatherwhitehall and me so very, VERY happy.’
Others to post goodwill messages included Jamie Redknapp and Abbey Clancy.
Horner told Hello! magazine they were reluctant about announcing this pregnancy after she had a miscarriage last year.’
She said: ‘There was a part of me that was worried to open up too soon about this baby because I was so worried something would happen again and I didn’t want to have to kind of tell the world’
But the model thinks her pregnancy is a "gift" from her late grandmother, explaining ‘We found out the same week my nan passed away. There's a part of me that feels like my nan knew we were trying for a baby and maybe this was her gift to us, )
The couple know the sex of their unborn baby, but they are not making the news public.
Their news comes just a few days after fellow comic Sara Pascoe announced she and husband Steen Rascopolous were expecting their second child.
