Indeed Flex unveiled as Edinburgh Fringe sponsor

Temporary jobs platform backs festival

Indeed Flex – an employment agency platform that helps people find temporary work in the gig economy – has been announced as a sponsor of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

Shona McCarthy, the chief executive of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, said: ‘As stated in our development goals, the Fringe Society is committed to fair work at the festival, and we’re excited to have found a partner that shares those values while providing essential tools to help seasonal staff find the job that best suits their needs.

‘Edinburgh’s festivals would not be possible without the hard work of an army of dedicated staff and volunteers, and we’re pleased to work with partners who make the process of finding a job easier and better for Fringe workers."

Details of the size of the sponsorship deal with the platform – part of the multinational employment agency Indeed – have not been revealed.
