Huge Davies’ The Carpark heads to streaming platforms

Award-nominated show filmed by US firm 800 Pound Gorilla

Huge Davies’ show The Carpark is heading to streaming services next month.

The show, which earned the musical stand-up a nomination for best newcomer at the 2019  Edinburgh Fringe 2019, revolves around him planning a site-specific biographical musical. But when he turns up to perform, the venue isn’t the car park he needs, and is forced to make the best of a bad situation…

The recorded version has been produced and distributed by US-based production company 800 Pound Gorilla Media and  will initially be available to stream on the company’s own platform on June 20, followed by general release on YouTube and other streaming platforms from July 20.

Davies – known for his deadpan delivery and wearing a full-sized customised keyboard strapped to himself –  is taking a new show, Whodunnit, to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
