Streamer sets launch date for Danny Dyer and Ellie Taylor show

Netflix has confirmed the launch date of Cheat, the new game show hosted by Danny Dyer and Ellie Taylor.

In the show, contestants can either use their general knowledge skills or blag their way to £50,000 by lying and bluffing.

The first four episodes will drop on March 1, with four more on both March 8 and March 15.

When the show was revealed last year, Taylor said: ‘Cheat has all the elements I want in a quiz show; great questions, unashamed cheating and Danny Dyer calling me "Treacle" at least once per episode.’

And Dyer added: ‘Expect enormous wins, loads of slippery people cheating and banter with the one and only Ellie Taylor.’

Cheat has been made by Talkback  and is the first UK-based quiz show on the streaming platform. It is based on an original idea by Giles Boden, whose credits include Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow and A League of Their Own.
