Kendal Calling announces its 2019 comedy line-up

As does Bluedot, at Jodrell Bank

The Kendal Calling festival has announced its comedy line-up, headlined by Josh Widdicombe and Reginald D Hunter

Also on the bill are Paul Smith, Justin Moorhouse, Dan Nightingale and Mat Reed,  Chris Betts and Raymond & Mr Timpkins Revue.

The festival takes place in the Lake District’s Lowther Deer Park from July 25 to 28.

Musical headliners are Courteeners, Doves and Manic Street Preachers, and tickets – priced £139 – are available here.

Meanwhile, Bluedot, the festival that mixes music, science and culture at Cheshire’s Jodrell Bank Observatory, has also announced its comedy line-up.

John Robins, Knightmare Live, Abandoman, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, The Dark Room, Paul Foot, Ivo Graham, Elf Lyons, Andrew O’Neill, John-Luke Roberts, David Trent, Joey Page,  Foxdog Studios, Ben Target and Micky Overman will be playing the festival, which runs from July 18 to 21.
