Channel 4 announces date

Taskmaster will return to Channel 4  at 9pm on March 28, the broadcaster has announced.

Taking part in the new 17th series are Joanne McNally, John Robins, Nick Mohammed, Sophie Willan and Steve Pemberton.

Challenges set by series creator Alex Horne include hunting for patatas, hoopla-ing a gorilla and hugging a special friend.

And of course Greg Davies is back as the Taskmaster.

Producers Avalon have also revealed that the virtual reality game based on Taskmaster, originally announced in November, is set to launch later this year for Meta Quest and SteamVR.
