Seann Walsh was voted out of I’m A Celebrity… tonight.

The comic seemed emotional as hosts Ant and Dec broke the news. He admitted : ‘I'm watering, the eyes.

‘So many amazing memories. I absolutely loved it. It is tough and I don't know how much that comes across through the screen but it is tough for everyone.

'As soon as you said my name all of the toughness just goes and now I'm just left with absolutely incredible memories. I'm going to need a long time to process

There are now just four contestants left in the show, which ends on Sunday night: Former rugby player Mike Tindall, former Health Secretary  Matt Hancock, actor Owen Warner and footballer Jill Scott.

Many did not expect Walsh to last so long after being made a tabloid pariah after his stint on Strictly Come Dancing, when he was photographed kissing  pro partner Katya Jones when both were in relationships.

The comic entered the jungle as a late arrival during the first week alongside Hancock and the pair forged a friendship in the jungle. But in his exit interview he said he wanted Scott to win.
