According to new Companies House records

Ricky Gervais’s companies made almost £5million last year, newly published accounts reveal.

Equity in his company Derek Productions – which makes his Netflix series After Life and stand-up specials including Supernature– rose just over £4million in the year to November.

And sister firm Red Lion 99, saw its equity rise by £849,000. Between them, the companies hold £11.2million.

The accounts, registered at Companies House on Thursday, cover the year to November 2021.
