Another lifetime achievement award for Billy Connolly

Sir Billy Connolly will appear at the Edinburgh Television Festival to receive its lifetime achievement award for his immeasurable contribution to the industry. 

The 78-year-old comedy legend will be interviewed by his wife, Pamela Stephenson Connolly, as he receives his award at his home in Florida. 

Also joining the line-up of the virtual event today is Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and the Spitting Image versions of  Dominic Cummings and Boris Johnson, who will be taking part in a session entitled Why is Telly so Sh*t?
