Fourth season for What We Do In The Shadows

Another bite at vampire comedy

Vampire comedy What We Do In The Shadows has been renewed for a fourth season.

American broadcaster FX announced that the show will be back next year, weeks before the third run launches in the States on September 2.

The network’s head of original programming said Nick Grad said: ‘Fans can’t seem to get enough of What We Do in the Shadows and FX is ready to feed that appetite by setting up the series for a fourth season.

‘Our thanks to the extraordinary job by the creative team, cast, and crew who keep making a great show better each season.’

The official season 3 trailer was also revealed featuring  Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Mark Proksch and Harvey Guillén.

No UK broadcaster has yet been confirmed for the new series, but BBC Two aired the first two seasons - which racked up ten Emmy nominations between them.

The mockumentary is a  spin-off to Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi’s 2015 film of the same name.
