Katherine Parkinson, Tom Meeten, Johnny Vegas and more

A huge cast of familiar names are to star in a new comedy movie about a revenge murder spree.

Alice Lowe, Kris Marshall, Katherine Parkinson, Tom Meeten, Kevin Bishop, Johnny Vegas, Mandeep Dhillon, Craig Parkinson, Steve Oram and Pippa Haywood all feature in  Paul Dood's Deadly Lunch Break.

The plot revolves around a charity shop worker and ‘ chronic underachiever’ – played by Meeten, pictured in his 2015 film The Ghoul – who is forced to miss an audition for an X Factor-style TV talent show because of five selfish jobsworths.

Then in one lunchbreak he dons a sparkly suit and vows to bump them all off and find the fame he’s always longed for.

The film is currently being filmed by director Nick Gillespie, who previously made the psychological thriller Tank 432 in 2015.
