Mr Kitson goes to Washington

First US dates outside of New York

Daniel Kitson is to perform his first ever shows in Washington DC.

The comic will be presenting a new show entitled  A Short Series Of Disagreements Presented Here In Chronological Order at the Studio Theatre in November.

According to the blurb for the show, it is 'written in this particular time, for this particular place, and likely to be both funny and thoughtful'.

The dates, which have not yet gone on sale, will be the first time Kitson has performed in any US city outside of New York.

Studio Theatre's artistic director, David Muse credits Kitson with 'changing the way he thinks about storytelling in the theatre'.

Kitson today announced to his mailing list a number of 'clunky' work in progress shows at the Battersea Arts Centre in South London in October as he puts together the new show. Tickets went on sale at midday today here.
